Received an email from PAL today that I can bid to get upgraded to Business Class for an upcoming trip:
myPAL Upgrade offers you the opportunity to make an online bid for a seat in Business Class within a pre-determined price range up to 36 hours prior to flight departure of your next flight. Simply click on the Upgrade Now button to proceed.
If you are upgraded, you will receive an email notification at least 24 hours prior to flight departure and your credit card will be charged the amount of your Offer. If you are not upgraded, you will keep your economy class ticket and no charges will be applied to your credit card.
Here's how myPAL Upgrade works:
1. Make an Offer. Choose the price you would like to offer for the upgrade on the eligible flight segment(s).
2. Enter your payment information. You will need to enter your credit card details and if your Offer is accepted, only then you will be charged the amount for the upgrade.
3. Review and Submit. Check that all information are correct then submit.
